This was our third project with Chard Developments. The two twenty-storey towers had phased occupancy. The Yates Tower has 126 units. The Vivid Tower has 135 units and is backed by BC Housing. The two share two common podium levels and four levels of underground parking.
Campbell Construction executed all excavation, concrete, rough and finish carpentry and millwork. For the lot-line-to-lot-line parkade footprint, we implemented two progressive construction techniques: Surface-drilled caissons and shot-in-place foundation walls—both were highly cost and time efficient. Our diligent planning and on-site management ensured the execution was a huge success.
